Easy Access for Americans
In addition to all Puerto Rico has to offer you, starting Dec. 31, 2006 we will become one of the few exotic destinations Americans may travel to without a passport.
Beginning with the last day of this year, as part of the Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004, all Americans travelling by air or by sea to or from Canada, Mexico, Central and South American, Bermuda and the Caribbean will be required to have a passport or other secure, accepted document to enter or re-enter the U.S.
As part of the United States of America, Puerto Rico is exempted from this new ruling making your visit to our Island even easier and more enjoyable than ever.
