The San Juan Metro area is composed of the The City of San Juan plus the surrounding cities of Bayamón, Carolina, Cataño, Guaynabo and Trujillo Alto.
The City of San Juan is included in the San Juan Metro area by the City's sub areas: Condado, Hato Rey, Miramar, Ocean Park, Puerto de Tierra, Puerto Nuevo, Río Piedras, Santurce and Viejo San Juan (Old San Juan).
Because most all of the services in the Metro area are available in more than one of the San Juan sub areas and surrounding cities they are all shown under San Juan Metro.
