The major business section of San Juan with some excellent restaurants and Plaza Las Américas.
All Puerto Rico’s banks – local, U.S., Canadian and Spanish – have a presence in Hato Rey, across the bridge from Santurce. Called the Golden Mile, it is also home to many stockbrokers and the new Coliseum which has already hosted many world-famous entertainers and sports activities.
The Plaza Las Américas shopping mall commands a major piece of Hato Rey real estate including the only Macy’s in the Caribbean.
