The Agriculture Department hosts a weekly, family-friendly bazaar at the Plaza Agropecuaria. The Hammock Festival offers an exhibition of different kinds of hammock weaving, local fritters, typical music and trovadores.
A beautiful lake with picnic facilities, fishing and paddle boats. Part of a sportfish restoration project funded by the US Fish and Wildlife service and managed by the DNPR. There is another facility at Lago de Plata in Toa Alta.
An important architectural statement, built in 1914 and restored in the 1930s. It is well known for its gardens and the Golondrinas (the unique small birds) that live in its giant columns.
